have been kiln-dried to a moisture content of less than
18% (Square Logs are available in 6"x12" or
8"x12" logs.)

wall starter plate with house wrap as moisture barrier.
- Open
cell gasket to rebound with any log movement, preventing
water and air penetration.
- Log
wall screws placed every 24" to 36" in a staggered
pattern.
- Wood
dowels between all log wall joints to insure a good air-tight
seal.
- Log
builders caulk which expands and contracts to insure an
air-tight seal.
- 2X
rough opening buck for all exterior doors and windows.
- Chinking
